I can only imagine
What it will be like
When we're finally together
Walking side by side
With Your angels around me
And Your hand holding mine
When I'll worship forever
'Till the end of time
Surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for You, Jesus,
Or in awe of You be still?
Will I stand in Your presence'
To my knees will I fall?
Will I sing 'Hallelujah',
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine

It's so obvious
That the promise
Keeps me here
Painting pictures where
All the colors
Disappear

Being in the presence of our Lord,
What a phenomenal thing to imagine.  I wonder what I will do?  A very good thought to keep in mind.  Bob <><

Heavenly anticipation and heavenly poem! Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

To picture ourselves in His Divine & Glorified Presence takes a Leap of Faith but one will substantiated in the word.(John 14:1-6)"That where I am, there ye may be also."  We can not now know our reactions or even our very form- but we are assured (I John 3:1-3) that we are evidently Loved by God to be His Children now. And tho we don't know what we shall be, we are assured we shall be like Him!  And having such a hope in Him works toward our being pure.
  A lovely poem here,   David

Hi LF,
I too, have tried to imagine this scene. I have come to the conclusion, if allowed, just touching His hem, praising Him, oh what a time that will be! In His glorious presence. Loved this one.

I have also wondered the same thing. I enjoyed this very much! I wrote one also you may want to check out sometime. I'm sure it's in this forum somewhere on the back pages. "I Was Lifted Up On Angels Wings"

It's hard to look upon perfection in all its Glory. But it's an awesome thing to ponder on!

This poem conjured up the longings of the saints of the MOST HIGH GOD throughout the ages.  But it forced me to ask myself the question: do we not now walk in HIS presence? SInce for JAH there is no time, then, is actually now.  I guess its the sensual realization that we long for. Thanks
