Judgment Calling

Children of Sodom dressed in dismal burial array
   shrouding blood stained hands that caressingly meet
Hearts bleeding in sporadic gusts of volcanic fire cry
   to God from dark and flaming hell sprawled street

Tear drenched souls shaken in morbid turmoil
   clutching faded words written for another time and place
Pleading that some alternative will find death sorrow's call

Give us hope!  Give us life!  Give us vision!  Give us grace!

As intercessors pray through smoldering mounds of harvest
                   choreographically
Heaven's resurected mentors of redemption come

                          g

               burnt morsels of dead faith
into God's crucible of eternal Christendom.

Good description of Sodom and Gommorah. Reminds me of Abraham and his question to God. If there be just one righteous Lord?
