We sit so silently
in the gardens
twilight.
Pale pink sky
fading into blue
velvet.
There are no words
spoken,
only two hearts
beating as one.
Our silence is all
we need,
to speak the words
of love
unspoken.
The whisper of Your
Word, Lord,
gentle upon my heart,
are the only words
I need to hear,
at the ending of
a summers day,
and the beginning
of Loves eternity.

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Yes, the Lord speaks so many different ways and languages. I love how the Lord speaks durring the twilight hours in fading colors of silence. Bob <><
