This is actually a song from dcTalk. Everytime I hear it, it makes me cry. It brings about thought and how true it is. I tried today to write a poem related to it, but I just couldn't convey what was said here the way they did.

An inconvient child
She wasn't worth their while

What about LOVE?
What about GOD?
What about HOLINESS?
What about MERCY, COMPASSION
and SELFLESSNESS?

HE sure is!

Maybe with all our combined
love for the Lord and what
is ' right'...it will be
enough to overcome all of
this and a person's color,
or unwanted children, etc.
....won't be heard of anymore!

Maybe ALL people will know what
love REALLY means.

Wow Rebecca - I certainly can see why this would bring tears to your eyes. What a powerful song... Sadly filled with so many truths. He is there for us, and I am so thankful that I know that. Thanks for sharing this with us. Bonnie

PS - Thanks for your reply and concern... things are getting better, I do miss her, but...I know where she is and who she's with. Can't feel too bad knowing that.

Good share, Rebecca. We are a blessed nation insomuch as the Lord God continues to bless us with all this meaness, crulity, bigotry and all the other evils of flesh going on. Good reminder that each one of us can make a difference. Blessings
