THE MAZE In the middle of my maze is the Throne of Jesus Christ waiting for me to reach it as I journey through my life From my very first breath I was placed at the entrance gate once I developed my own mind I entered in for I couldn't wait Traveling across the unknown having to choose the wrong from right feeling a presence telling me which way to turn but self putting up a fight Each time self won out a stonewall I would meet at that end and I'd have to back track all the way to begin all over again Each twist and turn held knowledge a Holy wisdom offered so free but sometimes I'd close my eyes and ears and think I knew what was good for me So aimlessly wondering I'd find myself lost and all alone then I'd repent cry out to God and my next path He would make known A maze is a puzzle that takes time and patience to win many times you'll meet a dead end and see a new way must be your friend The Creator of your maze designed it with purpose and plan that no man would reach the throne of God without holding those nail scarred hands For there is no obstacle to great that the Lord can't make a way through when you give your heart and soul to Him and do all that He asks of you written by rose mary(c)6/10/2000 [email protected] |

Rose; Your usual profound and inspiring poetry, filled with His love and truth. thank you once again for touching my heart and giving me pause. Love, Ellie Summers haunting melody that awakens the butterflies, calling them to join the dance in their silent song of praise to God. ellie LeJeune |

This piece had me picturing one of those English Garden mazes...and I was desparately looking for some garden shears! This is a very nice piece and an enjoyable read. Thank you. Sunshine ~~~Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. Helen Keller ~~~ |

Rose Mary. You really were inspired with this one! Your imagery of the maze and the many spiritual applications which you so beautifully entwined are nothing short of a-maze-ing! A very inspiring piece, Thank you---David |
