When spring first < !signature-->began tender shoots and budded trees promised the hope of verdant summer days. So our souls, when we first open our hearts to the Spirit of God. Jesus enters as spring's first kiss. The deadened winter of the souls' cold and empty heart comes alive as springs first embrace with tentative buds of hope, and as we continue to yield to His passionate Love, new growth appears, and old pain, lonelier than a forrest of winter chill, fades and blossoms into the beauty and Grace of deep spring. 02 [This message has been edited by ellie LeJeune (edited 06-11-2000).] |

I like the title of your poem-as well as the poem itself-you seem to be a pro at drawing lessons & truths from nature-to spiritually speak to our souls. Deep Spring--what is a spring-if it does not lead to the fullness of a summer's fruition-a very great point-a wonderful poem, David |
