Through sin, I myself defiled, Which led me to paths deep and wild But in Love He reached down, And this wretch, He has found So redeemed, He now counts me His Child. The Lord is my Shepherd dear, I shall ne'er be in want with Him near Tho' dark valleys I see, He is right here with me For His Righteousness sake, I endure. He invites all the weary to come, Yes, He calls, this great Comforting One Take His yoke upon you, And learn of Him too You can find your true help in God's Son. The LORD is the true King of kings, Winged healing to all He brings To save our doomed race By His generous Grace It's of Him, that my heart e'er sings! "GOD GIVES- but man must open his hand." Yes, we still have valleys but thank God we know He's near.
