I'm in the process of looking for a new job. At the same time very aware of conflicting emotions waging a battle. One side wanting to stay home, keep house, write poetry. Other side pulling me, to get a job, work very hard, make money. Praying for peace asking for an answer to the conflict. Awareness hits, clarity comes. Dad was a workaholic, in every sense of the word. 18 hour days, one off a month. Mom stayed home. Little kid got very confused as to which example to follow. That little kid is still in my head, trying to decide, and being torn between the two. More prayers. Surrender this mess to You, dearest Lord. I'm me, not them, comes the answer. If I listen to Your healing, gentle voice, You will guide me to myself, and what Your Will is for me. End of battle! 02 |

ellie, Your words have been acknowledged with your mouth, openly unto the Lord. Your answer will come and you will know. amen. Oh, how I love your submissive surrender to the Lord. Through beautiful poetry, what better way to pray unto Him. You bless me ellie and your love for God is undeniable. He does love His children and in helping You, others will see and be drawn to Him. marcy |

my stupid computer. It has a mind of its own A christian friend ( my hairdresser ) and I were talking today about closing doors. Her business began to fill up and we had to talk in code about the Lord, for her problem she did not want others to know about. When I read your poem again, (sometimes I read them five times) I was reminded of you and your situation. She said she asked God to close the door, else she (flesh) would find a way in if there was the slightest crack left open. Her problem was son/drugs and turn it over to God or use her through Him; No comparison as to the different circumstances, but I thought her prayer was a perfect one to pray until your sure what is best for you and still be in the Lords will in serving Him. I just wanted to pass this along because I thought what a good prayer, least the Lord reveals immediately to you, which HE sure can and does. Bless you anyway. sorry for the rambling. I love you my precious sister. marcy |

Oh Ellie - How well I know the situation you write of. But with your open, tender heart, He will definitely send you in the right direction. Good luck and God Bless Bonnie |

There is always a struggle-but I think you are winning! And I firmly believe in Proverb 3:5-6, as you put your trust in the Lord--surely He will provide- and guide and bring your present distress to resolution. God bless you, David |
