As I walk out the door, I don't look back. I'm afraid it will hurt too much. I am leaving my home, But I will always have the memories. As I get into the car, A single tear falls down my cheek, But I don't wipe it away, I let it fall, And drive away. I am begining a new life, at a new house. But it will never be my home. "Home is where the heart is", and my heart is where the memories lie. ------------------ *~*Laura*~* "Dream over me with a tear, anything it takes to wish me here. Magic and sweet lulabyes, any lucky penny will do fine to wish me here." -Nikki Hassman "Any Lucky Penny" |

Sad, but lovely ------------------ Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me how could I ask for more? |

Lovely poem, Laura! Memories are precious, but just remember this....new ones are created everyday! ------------------ Denise [This message has been edited by dsnyder (edited 11-27-1999).] |
