Not Exactly We're not exactly strangers We're not exactly friends. We're not exactly lovers. We're not exactly girlfriend/boyfriend We're not exactly exes. We're not exactly in love We're not exactly in hate We're not exactly a couple We're not exactly broken up We're not exactly harmonious We're not exactly discordanent We're not exactly happy We're not exactly sad We're not exactly forgiven We're not exactly angered Then what are we? I ask We're a strange combination A mystical delight We are lovers who remain friends And still kiss and cuddle We're who we are And as much as I would like to go back I know We aren't exactly lovers ------------------ Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go. |

In human relationships there are all kinds/forms/degrees of love which work for some and not others; which suit somes needs but leave others feeling cold and barren. You poem is interesting from that standpoint-I prefer an all-embracing, unquestionable love--but how often does that happen? Thanks for your poem. |

Well, this type of love is good for me at this time in my life. I don't want a real relationship as bf/gf and I don't not want to have him in my life. Right now, its carpe diem and smile... I take what I can get. Its turning into more again. But this time there's more trust and understanding. I understand your viewpt...:-) |

Hope something happens where you either become JUST friends or bf/gf again. The dragging it on thing could suck... If someone else asked you on a date would you go or would you feel you had loyalties to him? Would he feel the same? |
