Elizabeth, My Friend
~Marge Tindal~ 1999

I spoke to a friend
just today.
Her voice warmed me
as much as her poems do.

To Elizabeth I send,
the Spirit of the Wind ...
as I promised I would do.
With loving thoughts
from one who's blessed
by the very words from you.

Breathe deep the Spirit,
let it fill you with it's measure.
I have come to know,
your poetry is a treasure.

From this heart of sure reckoning,
I trust we will remain,
friends of the spirit
until we meet again.

Marge,

So smoothe a voice to soothe my day
In a very special way
So happy was I then to hear
Your kindest words of love and cheer
Hope that we can talk again
My very special poet friend

Thank You, Elizabeth

Thank you Pepper, Sunshine, Marge
You hearts are very, very large
And I was just so thrilled to see
The voice behind the poetry
For Marge has voice of silken silk
And warm as little kitten milk
Mysterious as the great unknown
With low seductive undertone
And friendly as a springtime flower
But with decisive strength and power
And laced with song like poetry
Which greets your heart so pleasantly
Melodic as a meadow lark
And vibrant as a summer park
Happy as a little brook
Come dancing down a wooded nook
Soothing as lake serene
Refreshing as fresh wintergreen
Passionate as a poet's heart
Pleasing as a work of art
Sensuous, lively,lovely, true
With many loving words for you
Thank you,
Elizabeth

Elizabeth, my friend ...
the pleasure was surely mine.
Such adoring words you send
to ease this agile mind.

Your sweet words
will long remain
a large part of
the sweet refrain.

'Twas a pleasure for sure,
I'll oft repeat ...
the spirit of the
the poets whose
hearts did meet.

Pepper, Sunshine, Hoot, and Denise .....
Elizabeth was as cordial as the words she pens. I so enjoyed my talk with her. Loving spirits joined for a few minutes in time ... to be forever remembered by this lady.
Thank you all for loving this ... she's a special gal.

Marge,
Your poem goes beyond unique
and is extra special sweet.
I wish next time you say for me.
She is as bright as a christmas tree.

Seymour -

A Christmas tree, set aglow
with multi-colored lights
would not glow half as much
as our friend so bright.

She glimmers with the best,
outshining many.
When it comes to loving words
she sure has a'plenty.

Each poem that she writes
a picture perfect rhyme ...
Elizabeth, I'm sure you know ...
you are a friend for all time.

Love ~Marge~

Marge,Pepper,Ruth,Sunshine,Denise and Sy
Your words have meant so much to me
On days of rocky, rocky sea
And if you'll notice, you will see
I'm posting my own poetry
And standing up, and walking round
And jogging miles into town
I'm running five times round the track
Climbed up a mountain, slid on back
I think a tall, tall tale I tell
The point is that I'm doing well
Thanks to poet friends of mine
Beside me the entire time
With loving words, and loving rhyme
I'm blessed that you're all friends of mine
With much love, Elizabeth

Sure glad you are doing fine.
As you enjoy the little rhymes.

Love to you. ~Marge~
