For The Critic by ©Richard Budig 1999 Something critics never know is what I call the writer’s secret. Every writer, good or bad, knows writing’s about the writer, so when I see anonymous notes from someone claiming to be a critic, I read in his work a longing, and a loneliness that leaves within me a sadness hard to describe. Welcome in, Mister Critic. Your words help us all In our quest to leave behind something meaningful for those who can’t. |

Very well stated broker.... ------------------ A soul that writes from the heart and shares it, truly gives a gift extraordinaire! |

Broker, You're write. My mom's friend was a film critic for the Apollo Spread and she died from an overdose, it must have been suicide. |
