What price truth in a day in which falsehood is the coin of success? What price truth, when children imbibe the art of lying and procrastination with their mother's milk? What price truth when men call evil, good; and good, evil? What price truth when people with honor are mocked and called square Or fanatics, and liars, thieves and bunco artists are called cool, And regarded as role models, and social successes? What price truth, when Law Enforcement officers are the enemy, and Rock stars are the heroes? What price truth when efforts are being made to disarm the American public? When the public is disarmed, only criminals will have guns. What price truth when our children are taught that guns kill people? Guns do not kill people- people kill people! With rocks, clubs, spears, teeth, barehands, letter openers, paperweights.......Where there is a will to perform violence, a way will always present itself. What price truth when our children lose their innocence before they reach puberty through the media, and careless parents? What price truth when despite public census' which clearly prove that the majority prefer less graphic and less violent programming, Hollywood continues to pump it's filth into the American home? What price truth when a man will be branded a bigot or religious fanatic merely because he has moral fiber, and wishes to make his own decisions in life? What price truth when our nations greatest natural resources are being murdered by the tens of thousands before they see the light of day? Well done, GS... and some great questions. But much of this comes down to personal responsibility that isn't taken. For instance, Hollywood will continue pumping whatever the public will rush to see... and there's an OFF on every TV set that's rarely used.
