The Poet's Path ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 Though I say I write for me ... I know it isn't true. I write because I wish to share my thoughts with you. Without someone to read the verses that I pen, I might just as well have kept the words within. Joy abounds just to know you found it to your liking ... Everyone needs a mountain when they embark upon hiking. I liken the poet to 'painting' the mountain, for the reader to 'climb'. Knowing you reached the top makes this poet feel divine. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Inspired by Sunshine ... ------------------ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

I am sitting here...smiling...happy to think to one I was an inspiration...such fine words...you've captured what we do, and you did it very well. I humbly say "Thank you." ------------------ Sunshine Look, then, into thine heart, and write ~~~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow |

I agree Marge, a poet without a reader is like a good meal without an eater. You said it so well. |

Sunshine - You have been an inspiration to many, my dear. Martie - Thanks. It's true, we all set a lovely table, but if no one shows up to dine ... the meal is for naught. |

This is wonderful, Marge! Yep, we would sure be a sorry lot without someone to read what we write! ------------------ Denise |
