if i could but steal a kiss i would be the king of thieves for truly a kiss is greater than treasure. your lips are like the opium poppy and i gladly partake of their sweet milk. sugar and marigolds dance upon these lips i see before me. rose petals glaze them shadow enfolds them. let me taste this freshly spun silk, these scarlet stained ribbons full upon my mouth. cinnamon, myrrh, water, honey, within this mouth i kiss. kiss me with your kisses, your black marble kisses, your feather lily kisses, kiss me until the dawn. from your mouth flows ecstasy, joy, happiness, love, a million butterflies. let me sip the nectar within your soul, you've stolen my heart with one kiss of your mouth. though the mountains may fall, kiss me, for your lips will be my sanctuary. though the seas will roar, kiss me, for your mouth will be my vessel. though the earth may quake, kiss me, for your kiss will be my citadel. though the aeons pass, kiss me, for your love will be my well spring. and even if the stars will fall, kiss me, for your joy will be my shelter. |
