Budding Romance ?
~Marge Tindal~ 1999

On FTD Florist wings it came,
a message from your heart.
Roses for each moment
we had been apart.

The courier kept on coming.
Roses by the minute.
The house soon filled with roses,
couldn't squeeze another one in it !

Minutes turned into hours.
Hours into days.
The roses kept on coming.
I guess love pays.

Days into weeks.
More roses you sent.
I'd think it was sweet ... except,
for the money you've spent.

Now I have to tell you.
This just isn't right.
You can stop the roses ...
I eloped with the delivery boy last night !
