Winter…. Electrical storm covers the sky What such beauty it presents Whooshing winds fly swiftly by It's whistling and hissing so intense Accompanied by the clap of thunder As it roars fiercely into the night Many, mesmerised with the wonder Of Nature, as she takes full flight. The arrival of a cold blizzard morn The sun still gives her glorious shine Another winters day adorned With snowflakes atop Oregon Pine. Children happily tumble and play In the snow and upon icy Lakes Until their strength fades away And they feel their body aches Winter here or winter there Some take Joy and some resent The touch of pure winter air You can't escape Nature's event ------------------ What comes from the heart goes to the heart.
