Catch The Lifeline ...
~Marge Tindal~ 1999

In the solitude of evening
the thoughts return to me.
Where are the days of my childhood,
why were they taken from me?

A little girl with dreams of being
just a little girl.
Caught up in the winds of life,
tossed aside by the whirl.

Clinging to the lifeline
thrown to me by God.
Knowing that my very life depended
on making it through the fog.

Swimming to the shore.
Shaking it off my shoulder.
Clinging to the God who saved me,
knowing He is my boulder.

He walks with me through the sunshine,
He walks with me through the rain.
He shelters me from the storms.
He eases my pain.

The greatest love I've ever known
comes in His love for me.
He made me what I am today ...
loving and carefree.

He steadies my heart when it is troubled.
He leads me through to joy beyond compare.
He lets me be the one who decides
just how His love I'll wear.

The days of childhood that I remember,
were given so I could learn.
Love is where you find it ...
it has no other terms.

He is my anchor ...
I am steadied in His touch.
Thanks to God for
loving me so much.

for Him I will be,
everything I can.

Marge,
You are not hard to love dear.
At least by all the people here.

He is the 'Rock Of Ages' on which I stand.
He's led me to friendships grand.
Denise, Balladeer, Hoot and Seymour ...
thanks for the love I feel at Passion In Poetry's door.
