Rain awakes me from my sleep lashing at my window panes raindrops sparkling like diamonds the sound I love now etched upon my brain... I know I shouldn't but I really can't resist and soon enough I'm soaked right through pale moonlight lends to the eerie atmosphere the rain splashing down reminds me of you... From somewhere I hear distant laughter and I wonder if someone else is mad like me a clap of thunder and I decide to come back in suddenly awake and full of endless energy... Standing in the shower I had this crazy thought if this was daytime and the sun was almost out I'd still be loving every minute laughing at my crazy ways cause there'd be a rainbow shining of that I have no doubt...  ------------------ You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give. |

Weren't you FREEZING?! Great poem, Rainbow! Nothing wakes me from sleep and I tend to stay warm and cozy 'till my hubby says,"IT'S TIME TO GET UP, Hon..Hon..HoN..HONNN...... ..DEENNNIISSE will you get up PLEASE!? And then of course I wake up!! (hehehehehe) But think of all the fun I miss dancing in the rain! ------------------ Denise |

Just think how much happier we'd all be if we'd just let go of our inhabitions now and again!! Great poem, Rainbow....lovely imagery. |

You forgot to mention Snoops looking at you through the window and thinking : "That's it ! Mum went nuts" ... ... Lovely poem, I can close my eyes and see the picture right in front of me. |

Thanks guys.. PDV: I've always had this desire to be in the rain, don't know why, I just love the softness of rain on my skin, to me it's magic..
