Women Friends

Discovery of something new
never realizing
how this grew.
A shared moment,
a tear,
sound of her laughter.
Nothing more than love
that we are after.
No need for a facade
or underlying reason
to pursue
it is much different
than a man's point of view.
No fear of consequence
or that tear that falls
from our face,
no invisible walls.
Just sharing
the moment
of God's blessings
and grace.
There is a richness
in my sister
a sense of fairness
a grace not found
in any other.
Seeking nothing
but the smile
to appear
on my face.
She knows
my spirit
and seeks it
without diminishing
my essence.
The deepest
most satisfying
of human relations,
in my friend,
my godly sister.

Julie -
Your poem for your sister is just beautiful.
Sounds like she's pretty lucky to have a sister like you.

A very poignant reminder especially for me this year.

Sisters are sent to us from Heaven itself.
This year one of mine went back ... and God, how I miss her.  The blessing is that she was here for most of my life ... and me for all of hers ... we cared, we shared, we loved.
The angel God calls ~Shari~ watches over me this Christmas.

God bless you and your sister.
Love ~*Marge*~
