I saw the voice you never spoke painted on the bathroom wall I cried the tears you never had dialed the number you'd never call I danced the dance you never knew laughed the laugh you'd hid so well I sang the song you failed to learn sold the world you failed to sell I walk the path you turned from made the choice you feared then you sat and yelled at me and with your lips, you sneered I never made my choice for you it was made for me alone I wanted something more than this yet still you must bemoan I saw the shadows in your eye and the fire at it's edge I never saw the rain inside or the dangerous ledge I marched to the cadence sung and pushed with all my might I am proud of where I am though with you I'll never fight I do not have to scream nor must I have to shout I live inside my dream and will never see your doubt shine a light so bright that all can see and you will find the joys that echo within me |

excellent verse, Des, form the first line to the last. You should be "proud" of this one. Michael |

I agree with Micheal, I liked this very much, from beginning to the end. Merry Christmas to you Des. : ) |

Excellent, Des...strong emotion here. It sounds very determined, and I like that. Good to see you here again! ![]() Happy Holidays to you! It's not the love you fear, but the fall from the height~Edwin McCain |
