It Ain't so much the parties,
Or the trees and gifts or lights,
Nor the things that everyone brings,
The Good Tide, Some Cheer, Joy or Woolite.

It's what we have deep in our hearts,
What's really valuable to us,
Having friends and family,
That makes a real Christmas!

So listen up ladies,
Get the Holiday spirit,
Wrap mistletoe 'round your waist,
So it hangs right-there-next-to "IT"

Then take your loving honey,
Say, "Come over here my boy,
Kiss me 'neath the mistletoe"
This is the true feeling of joy!

Ok, I'm setting out to climb the local trees, all the way to to top, which is where that parasitic stuff grows!

Cute poem!

I love it.  Leaning down to kiss the Mistletoe-Rag. I hope that you aren't around too long.  I was getting use to that Toe- Rag.  He was pretty funny.

Happy Holidays

Mistletoe,
That mistletoe hanging was a funny bit
My wife would kick my butt if I tried that....
Enjoyed the poem.

The last verse might go...

Then take your loving honey,
Say, "Come over here, by gum!
Kiss me 'neath the mistletoe"
And don't forget the tongue!

I can see this poem of yours making its way around the world in 80 e-mails (or so)

I tried this once when I was young
but some joker pulled a big switch
seems the plant I thought was mistletoe
was poison ivy that made me itch!

ROTFLMAO!  And absolute riot, Toerag!  I think I'd be mauled for even considering that...
