My Daughter Liz Elisabeth Lang we named you Me and you mother Elisabeth was your name Lang was your great grandfather My grandfather Lang I never knew He died at a young age But you I will never forget I held you on your first day For after the doctor grabed you I got to hold you next After your mother birthed you You I saw take your first breath I have loved you from that first instant I knew then that God was good And I have always loved you Though I never always understood To me you are the greatest gift In my life on this earth My love for you will never die I have loved you from your birth And I will always love you Nothing else much maters Just ask me for anything I will give it, be I in taters |
