If I do not move does time pass?

At history’s end shines brightly,
That omni-infinite star,
The Alpha and Omega,
So far away so far,
But near, it strikes each motion,
Hurling shadows to the past,
With rays of tempo starkly,
Across the mindscape vast.

If no one sees me?
Or perceives me?
Doth this shadow fade,
From history’s grasp?
If I am still in silence,
Removed from all repast,
Doth this time wait and wither?
This gnashing moment cast?

I see and I have seen,
The very edges only,
Of the scope of this existence,
And in each minute atom,
Each force weak and strong,
Conserved through time’s persistence.

Moment by each moment,
Strung like strings of harps,
The very stuff that is us,
That is our minds and hearts,
Circumscribes eternity,
Reverberates with passion,
The fugue of space defines us,
From harmony we’re fashioned.

And I still hear you;
Each trill and chord and tremolo played,
Each note and rest and measure,
Each pianissimo and crescendo’s fade,
And the tempo of your pleasure,
I hear you.
Ringing.

But if I move not,
Does time pass?

wow, this made me cry, guess I got leaky eyes today, must need to call my plumber   ....this is really profound...am going to reread several times...and to answer your last question...yes and no....if you move not, you can live in the past, but time still moves on without you....

Perhaps awesome is not the word I would use.  This is actually much more simple than that.  It is, in a few lines and words the complete embodiment of my philosphy, theology, and passion.

Thanks all...

Time...and opportunity...moves without you, I think. Excellent poem.

This was excellent.  I can prove it as well because my heart beat increased!!   The last two stanza's did it for me. I so admire the intertwining of music in poetry.  Welcome to Passion's.  I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Wonderful LG, a poet philospher! I think if you stand still long enough, time will cease to be..in your space....but when you open your eyes and move, everything fast forwards to the 'real' future....keep trying!

Rebel -

Time marches on ...
this poem is extremely well done.
I hear the ticking of the clock
and the music plays on.
