I saw you once in silent light Beneath the moon up in the night As shadows danced amongst the oak trees I saw your face and fell to my knees I watched with eyes as wide as coins As you undressed from in your loins And saw your body lithely move In silence I sat and approve Yet how I longed to feel your meek touch Inside the confines I loath so much Yet I held my tongue and never spoke I didn’t want to be a cruel joke So please don’t say I never tried For you don’t know the times I cried speak the riddle within the mind you dwell in stare long and hard at the shadow from within feel the rhythm of your heart and dance let your body sway as though you have no chance sing the songs you never thought you'd sing live the joys you never thought you'd bring as the world begins the last chorus today and smile for the things you just threw away... shine a light so bright that all can see and you will find the joys that echo within me |

Interesting thoughts, des. I can't say that I understand it all but I enjoyed how the words made me feel! ![]() Denise |
