Forever In Your Heart

There is a place I keep my treasures,
Locked away forever,

Deep inside is photograpic pictures of you and I,
Paintings so beautiful, that I cry,

For each memory is a treasure, a keepsake of mine,
I open it and look inside from time to time,

Especially on days that I think of you,
I feel lost, lonely and blue,

Treasures I keep of long ago,
Of our love that never had a chance to grow,

Treasures of laughing, dancing,
Of dinners and romancing,

The pictures will never fade,
I will always hold them dear,

For when I close my eyes to think upon them,
You are here, You are near,

The day you left,
I hid the key,

To my treasure box for all eternity,
For death shall one day find me,

I will be free to a new start,
For you to see,

The treasure box of my heart!
