Friends or maybe more

A friend is someone who you like and know,
Through time, the relationship seems to grow,

This relationship is built from trust,
To find a good friend is like finding a diamond in the dust,

To find that diamond, sometimes you must look hard,
But once you find it can pay high rewards,

Someone who you can bleed your heart to for advice,
Giving you many answers and never asking for a price,

Giving you a new look at what you need to see,
Always with an open ear, or helping hand at your time of need,

Picking you up when you are feeling so down,
Making you want smile, when you feel like you want to frown,

Making you laugh, when you want cry,
Lifting your spirits, never letting them die,

Drying the tears of your biggest fears,
Making your mind and thoughts seem so clear,

A friend can be like an angel from above,
Giving you a great feeling of being loved,

Sometimes the relationship builds into something special after a while,
After taking many steps, and walking many miles,

Could it be worth the price of finding something more,
One will never know unless they try to open that door.

Far and Away, I am amazed! For one who is just trying you've done a spectacular job on this. I wouldn't change a thing! The feelings are well written and just all together a great poem! WOW! I really liked this one, and it really hit home. Thank you for posting this! More, more!
