Watching me from above, Showering on me all your love. Smiling down on me, Pushing me to be all that I can be. Thoughts of you give me the inspiration I need, You enter my mind every time I do a good deed. You left me so long ago, I do always try to remember though That your suffering is now done, And you're shining as happily as the sun. You've gone to a better place And I can imagine that smile upon your face, But I do have to admit to my pain And say that sometimes I have gone quite insane. It's hard not having you here in body, but just in soul, But each day I remind myself of my goal: To remember you're with me every step of the way, To remember you guide me through each and every day... **************************************************** I miss you, Aunt Alice, that is for sure And each day I still love you more and more. If you love something, set it free, if it comes back to you, its meant to be... |

Great poem. Just because she isnt your mother by blood doesnt mean she doesnt care as much about you ![]() Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go. |

Thanks again Cuddlez! She is my aunt through blood, my mother's sister, she raised my brother and I when times were tough, up until she passed away. You are right in saying the reverse is true. Thank you! ![]() If you love something, set it free, if it comes back to you, its meant to be... |
