The Lady
~First Knight~

The day fades into night,
as birds begin their flight,
When shadows come to this land of ours.

A knight with a purpose,
Who often feels worthless,
For his search that leads to the stars

He searches for a lady,
a secret treasure not found
To hold his love,
and her heart unbound.

With a loving embrace,
moonlight and lace,
Spirit and grace,
with a loving face,
Does my dream lead me so far?

I would sit at her feet,
serve and not cheat.
Should she rule with the softest of hand.

Her cup will overflow,
As I watch our love grow,
And she will drink from the saucer I plan.

Another day has gone,
My thoughts wander on,
Of dreams of glory to be.

My plans of life,
Passions with a wife,
And love for all eternity

Breathtaking first night, truly.

First_Knight -
Breathtaking honesty.
Refreshingly sincere.
Very nice job.  I like it.

Could a lady fair
Dare to compair
With words as heartfelt as yours

They strike to the heart
Make one want a new start
Where darkness once claimed a sad soul

Very nice one David, I enjoyed it as usual.

Ruth-

Make your way, and follow your heart,
Come to me and I will give you that start.

Don't delay for the time is close,
Start on the path that leads to the coast.

To the oceans of love I can give to you
Sharing and caring before I am through.

Will you take my hand and give the chance
That maybe you will find the road to romance.
