Nobody’s perfect,
a fact we must face.
We've all had those times,
we wished to replace.
And too many lies,
I've had to go through,
to finally realize,
That perfect is you.

I’ve seen many days,
Watched them pass me by.
Been lost in the haze,
Till you caught my eye.
Drowning in wrong,
with one glance I knew,
after searching so long
that perfect is you.

disappointment expected,
a daily emotion.
Attraction neglected,
a useless commotion.
A life that was gray,
saw flashes of hue,
ever since the day,
that perfect was you.

This is great Kevin and whomever this was written for should be gleaming from ear to ear with a delight and a sweetheart such as yourself! Great poem and read!
