The Flower of My Delight

Still man denies the spirit word
But cannot stop the ever wind
So swift it blows through open time
Like fairy dust to life's within

Intangible fingers touch to touch
The essence fills the empty light
Unspoken warmth then blankets me
It is the flower of my delight

It is there in unknown why
And spirit laughs at mind's deny
For time to mind is hour known
But spirit's time is all its own

Lovely, my friend.
The spirit of the wind blows gently your way.

Very beautiful Elizabeth

the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

Though I find the title out of step, this is a truly wondrous verse.

Now and forever, my heart hears ~one voice~.

And the winds of change shall not this delicate flower move, nor the tides, nor the thundering rush of rain...for it is yet the strongest flower I have seen...Kudos, Elizabeth

Beautiful, Elizabeth.

Thank you all very much for your kind remarks. I think this verse could be interpreted in several ways, in a religious context, etc, But what I was writing about is when someone is with you spiritually, and that is something that person cannot always control. At times I can sense when someone is thinking about me or is with me spiritually and it gives me the same feeling of happiness and pleasure as a beautiful flower. And so the phrase "to spend time with someone" has no meaning in the spiritual encounter. That's it. Very simple!
