Rays of sunshine
exist in my heart

Gleaming in my eyes
is a burst of surprise

I found the thing that
was unknowingly lost

Silly how i did not recognize
such a valuable thing was misplaced

Misery had settled in,
Deep in my own sorrow
Engulfed by depression,

I never had a chance,
a chance to be me

He looked at me once
I looked at him twice
and I was set free

Found that great thing
The joy in my heart

Joy to be free
Joy to be me

Happiness has set in
and I am ready to begin

My new life

I liked this. And Welcome to Passions!
Funny how something like that can give you just what you need to go on!

If most didn't see one always made up of two...then being happy as one, two will always be sheer magic.. )
