No Way ! ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 There's no river so wide I can't reach you. No mountain so high I can't climb. No valley too deep, no cliff so steep, that I can't find my way to you. I'd find a way to get to you, even if I had to crawl. I'd lay down my life to make it to you, even if the chances were small. No way on this earth, could I ever escape the need of reaching you. No way could I see how it wouldn't be the easiest thing I'd do. No river, no mountain, no valley, no way ... but your way. I'll be there. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Oh my Marge.....To whom do you write? For a man such as he has a powerful woman in you... making you way to him....Very beautiful in deed. |

First_Knight - Thank you for the compliment. This heart wends it's way to any who would have need. It's not difficult to feel strong with people when you care about them. Glad you liked it. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Oh, Denise - That's such a sweet thought. Lovely of you to say. It's a friend that you are and 'tis I, the fortunate one. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Oh, Marge! There's naught I wouldn't do To get my little self close to you I mean, I'd cross the Serengetti, Climb Everest and fight with Yeti, Go from here to Timbuktu If it would get me close to you. I'd traverse rain forests in Brazil Endure the cold Alaskan chill I'd swim down to the lost Atlantis, Eat insects like a praying mantis Climb Himalayas for the view If it would get me close to you. I'd brave erupting Krakatoa Sail 40 days with mister Noah Hike Africa's jungles for a lark And walk Miami after dark! No thing would I refuse to do If it would get me close to you. So what I'm trying to explain... I'll be over tomorrow (if it doesn't rain). |

Beautiful Marge! if I had to run if I had to crawl if I had to swim a hundred rivers just to climb a thousand walls always know that I would find a way to get to where you are theres no place that far (Sara Evans) Your poem reminded me of that song. Whoever is lucky enough to have someone such as yourself go out of their way to help them/get to them etc. is lucky indeed! ~*~ Hell is not a place of fire and a devil with a tail and horns. But a place of torment because the light of God is gone. To escape this, accept the blood of Jesus Christ! ~*~ |

Why, Balladeer - For you I think I'd draw a map, if I could just get to sit in your lap. No need to travel the Serengetti, when we could go to Italy and dine on spaghetti. To the heights of Everest would be no small hike. I hear that Yeti is quite a fright ! I'd never ask that you do Noah's ark ... perhaps a canoe? Praying mantis? Not for my man ... Vienna sausage right out of the can! I'd feed them to you one by one ... and then when you're finally done, we'd head on over to Miami's finest hotel ... and the rest Shhhh! I'll never tell. *I checked the weather forecast ... not a cloud in sight. ~Me~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Hoot - Oh, excuse me ... I'm back. Yeah ... no time, space or bounds ! Great thoughts. Suthern - You liked? Thanks. Echo - Thanks. I think I remember that one too. I would do anything to reach that one who needed reaching. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
