I'm Having A ~Senior~ Moment ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 I'm having a ~Senior~ moment it's right there in print. Try as I might, I can't find out, where my ~Youthful~ status went. I've been ~New~ I've been told ... that I would know if I was ~Old~. I've been a babe. I've been a chick. I think this ~Senior~ Thing just might make me sick.  Well, okay Ron, if you insist. I guess it's time that I admit, I'm having a ~Senior~ Moment and I guess that's it! Rally round the birthday cake. Help me blow the candles out. Ron says I'm a ~Senior~ and he's the one with clout. I don't think I'll forgive him for causing me this grief. I'm having a ~Senior~ moment, forgive me please. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

A wink from Balladeer is just the thing for me. I'm glad I've got this 'social' security. They say that when I'm old enough to collect, there may not be any cash left to include in my check. So I'll just count on all my friends to see that while I'm experiencing a ~Senior~ moment ... Elizabeth, my friend - I'm only having a ~Senior~ moment at Ron's expense. Other than that ... I'm a teeny-bopper. Prime, huh? I'll try to remember that. Pepper - I'm not sure about that adage. It should read something like ... you're not getting older ... you're not getting older ... you're not getting older ! LOL ! I long ago learned that I like whatever year I'm in ... especially when you consider the alternatives ! Caroline - I've got a few too. But, for all concerned, AARP now tells me that I qualify for membership. McDonald's little juvenile delinquents wait for me to ask for my ~senior~ coffee.
