I’m just a nickel in a 10¢ world. No matter what I do I don’t fit in. I like puttin square pegs in the circle. I like telling stories from the end. I’m just a nickel in a 10¢ world. No matter what I have its not enough. You describe the Louvre as a Museum. To me its just a building filled with stuff. I’m just a nickel in a 10¢ world. Everywhere I go I’m odd one out. You have all the answers to the questions. I have no idea what life’s about. I’m just a nickel in a 10¢ world. Never claimed to have a lot of "cents". You like to tell the world your secrets. I like tryin to keep them in suspense. Alone you fit perfect in this 10¢ world. You may think that I have lost my mind. I’ll just search for someone who’s just like me. Cause, a nickel and a nickel make a dime. ------------------ Not all poems I write are about me personally, yet they do come from MY soul. |

Thank you Balladeer... I really had to struggle with this.. not the challenge.. just that I am in a major slump.. this took me twice as long as any poem I have ever written. perfect.. no cents!!! |
