I opened my eyes to greet the light,
The sun quickly making day from night.
The burning globe rose pink in the sky
It's brilliant rays rising on high,
And in the iridescent glow
Shed dim light on all below.
A beautiful sight to my bleary eyes
This wonderful morning's bright sunrise.
I was reminded of birth anew
And reminded again of loving you.
I wish you could see it through your slumber
And appreciate it for its wonder.
But for now, just go on sleeping,
In your quiet own way dreaming
And wake up later with our son,
Start a new day of work and fun.
I love you more than you could know
More than all above or below
As I love our son, our beautiful boy
Whos brightness rivals this morning joy.
And the sun has risen, the day is born
What a glorious, beautiful morn.

Once I was brilliant, now I no longer shine, but the twinkle in my eye speaks of another time.

Wow, I wish I could say it's that beautiful waking up in MY house! Sounds like I need to move in with you guys!!! LMAO You have taken a moment that is too often taken for granted, and shined and polished it, until it sparkles with your emotion and gratitude! Thank you - and am so glad you relish every day with those around you! I pray soon, I can do the same, and see the sunrise as you do!

Ohme...they are!
PFF...You're welcome anytime but hopefully will not feel the need soon enough. Best wishes to you both on a speedy resolution to this extended wait.
