I’d never met a girl like you, Nor ever wanted to. No one had ever touched me In the special way you do. I’d never been a gambler I liked to have control... But over my emotions You have a strangle hold. The moment that I saw you- this trouble came my way... A longing for your presence Had settled in to stay. I’ve heard of perfect romance Of candlelight and wine For polished city people I guess that’s all just fine. I was a Texas cowboy And you a dance hall queen Both of us were born and bred To tight blue denim jeans. To love them and to leave them Was my philosophy- But something changed within my heart It’s different now you see? I’m still a footloose drifter- A mover, this is true... But there’s a part of me, my dear That’s always there with you. ------------------ Live large, people! ~GS~ http://www.geocities.com/montcogunslinger/HomePage.html |

I never thought I would say it with pride but I can..."I have a kindred soul in Texas"... ------------------ Once I was brilliant, now I no longer shine, but the twinkle in my eye speaks of another time. |

Some people impact our lives in such a way that they become a part of us forever. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed it. |
