A Scent Upon The Wind by ©Richard Budig 1996 There’s a scent upon the wind. It smells like life anew Like it was in the beginning When it was me and you The ice is off the water now Days of gold lie just ahead We’ll hear the song of silence As we twine upon our bed Daffodils lie upon the hill With bluebells down below And I shall weep and cry When it’s time for you to go |
