Till tomorrow
When the bird sings of a new dawn
You’ll wake up and realize that I’m gone
Till tomorrow
What is tomorrow, I say
Is it another day or month or year?
Will it be measured by love or tear?
Or is it just another day?
Tomorrow is when everything changes.
The earth has moved and the sky glows red.
New life is born as another goes dead.
And silently sleeps the oldest of sages.
So I’ll be leaving in the morning,
When the dawn is fresh and new.
I’ll turn for one last glimpse of you
Smile in the chilly air, sunlight pouring
Walking away toward the future I have made
Ready to return one day in army green
Fully composed, awesome and lean
To stand by in silence at the promenade
So till tomorrow I’ll be gone
Yet do not fear where I’ll be
For I’m ready to open up and see
The beauty of the coming dawn

I'm willing to bet that this will be the last post I'll have time to view. if you don't know where I'm going and why, please check out the announcements forum. details are in there. =-)

Good luck to you, Des.
I like what you've written.
Be sure to make the time to write more.
