As I set my emotions free, I wonder where they will take me. Will I wander to a happy place? Or will a tear fall upon my face? I look to the future, but I can't see that far. Then I look at the past and I see many scars. Gone are the moments of the past. Time keeps passing by so fast. We need to take time to sit and laugh. And look through the eyes of our other half. For there's a child hidden in the depth of our soul. Let him out and let him take control. You may be surprised at what you may find. For we are all unique, and one of a kind. So stop being a puppet on a string. Let loose and do your own thing. |

Like this much, I do...especially like the third stanza Eloise..... ------------------ A soul that writes from the heart and shares it, truly gives a gift extraordinaire! |

Unique indeed. A wonderful rhyme. It warms this childish heart of mine. Very nice, Eloise. I like very much. ------------------ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Eloise, I do think I am unique. But when I let the child in me have control I get myself in trouble. LOL Still, I'm not a puppet. Lovely poem. |
