Feeling as gray inside as the sky

Can you warm me?
I'm so very cold.
Warm my heart my soul

I am lonely in my little box
Surrounded on all sides by walls
both thin enough
as to allow the screams of the world
  that I do not understand IN
Yet, thick enough not to allow
  my freedom to be happy OUT.

And yet still this box would be
  my private sanctuary away from the
   craziness of the world

If only you were in it too.
