OK, Yes, I now am compelled to admit that I DO need to get a life -- I have completed yet ANOTHER double sestina, entitled "Casting Shadows," which I posted last night in Open 5. I think that it is better than the last -- it is not a narrative, and it ventures a bit into the philosophical -- if ya'll would be so kind to tell me what you think I would surely appreciate it, my comrades in craziness! I am planning to submit this one to a literary contest of sorts at my school, and I would like a little feedback on it first so I know whether or not it still needs polish. PS: Ya think Ron is gonna ban me for eating up bandwidth pretty soon, or what? LOL You cannot choose the way of your death, but the path you choose will determine its own end. |

Geez Kess, I can't believe you've already done it again! You really are make the rest of us look like slackers or lazy bums. I'll go read it tonight, right now I have to do some revenue producing work. Pete |

"Neener, neener, neener ..." ? You HAVE lost your mind, dear. But I'll still read your second tour de force. So, how does it feel to be one up on Swinburne and his writing a pseudo-double sestina? (Pete and I have invented the TRUE double sestina, of course). Take your bow, Peter! Jim "If I rest, I rust." - Martin Luther |
