Scientifically, a first
in the seek of knowledged thirst
A simple search for something more
produced this color by the score~

The fabric industry regaled this mix
of the discovery in the year of 1856,
The delicate shades of this scientific find
continues today in the ages of our minds~

A shade of color before undefined
found in the laboratory of a brilliant mind
Through the decades it came to signify
many things that capture the eye~

History is full of the stories of this find
This was a first of the human-made kind~

***Ah, a research project***

That would probably be Mauve, Marge.  I thought your poem was very well crafted.  It's a happy thing when somebody can put something together that finely.  Thanks.

See, all those rumors about me being 'dunce cap' material are unfounded~
(so far)

Actually, Sir Teach, I have found some WONDERFUL information researching the finding of colors~

Never too old to learn, are we ?

I loved your poem Marge, but I had to look up what colour Mauve is on the internet. LOL When it comes to colours it seems my Dutch side takes over.

I love this! And I did not guess the color despite trying. I came up with turquoise.

hugs and luvs, Marti
