He awaits in the wings with the patience of Job and envisions strange things,( sans a full frontal lobe) Striking swift, he attacks when defences are low, asking, " Where in the heck did you poets all go?" It's a coup is it not, without firing a shot? Here for you, I'll reveal my unscrupulous plot. While you've all been away, I have schemed night and day, ha ha ho, hee hee hee,('less I'm nuts like they say!) It's all mine! I'm quite sure, take a good look around, there's no "Nan", "Alicat" or a "Liz" to be found, it's just me, and myself, and this other guy "Doc", hee hee hee, OW OW OW ! hey, no more 'lectro shock!!! We're just too cool for school, but, we're here anyway, so let anarchy rule, tell me what do you say! Let's take off all our clothes and go nekkid to class, since there's no one else here, they can all kiss my pass, that I used to get in 'neath the Mods' watchful eyes, to their complete chagrin,( couldn't stop me if they tried!) Ha Ha Ha, so you see, I rule all I survey, 'til the men in white suits come to take me away. |

Endlessecho, Thanks, I'm glad you got a chuckle out of this. Nope, school's not over, it's just been taken over. Stick around, Pete's got a great idea! Doc Midnitesun, Thanks, and welcome to summer school, since the rest of them appear to goofing off, I've decided to take over. You may still address me as "Doc" , but, my new title is " Moose the Magnificent" supreme ruler of all he surveys. We'll be having a little fun shortly, care to join in? Doc Pete, What a capitol thought, Not a Poet there, Pete as your ruler in chief it shall be my decree, your assignment this month is that each shall complete me a "spit-ball-esque" poem, most expediently. Pick a form that you like, roll your thoughts in a ball while the former regime is exile my friends use your pen like a straw in the classroom and hall under my rule the fun and the games never end. Take a deep breath and blow, it's a sure fire hit, let 'em sound the alarm, or, just get over it! now that I am to rule while the rest are away, wad 'em up with some spit and c'mon join the fray! P.S. And, we could probably use this time to brush up on a little onomatopoeia, you know, that thing where words sound like the noise they represent. Just remember, "Splat's" where it's at! Doc |

LOL, Moose the Magnificent?  I've been around lots of moose, and stepped over more than my share of droppings. BTW, did you realize I wrote one in Open called 'Moose Droppings' after reading some of your stuff? It is being misinterpreted so far by most who read, but that's OK.  Once I write and post something, it doesn't really belong to me anymore anyway. Anyway, 'droppings' was meant to refer to your posts, the words you've dropped onto our path. LOL, in a kind way, of course. |

It ain't so, I'm believin' this place is all mine. I've done all of the math, in my throne I recline. With advisors and cabinet members galore, and if that's not enough I will just clone some more! We're entrenched, having claimed un-used desk for a throne. And my minions will fight, it is graven in stone, to the last breath they utter, when things will go "SPLAT!" Though I might be befuddled, I know where it's at!
