Soundly sleep, dawning dreams whisper, "white feathered flight".
In immersed images without words, soaring sights,
shifting scenes billow by, clouds condense, feathers fall,
downward drift, lightness lost, dreams descend after all.

Tender touch wounded wings healing hurt, fallen friend,
arc aloft, avian, as allowed and ascend,
reach rapport, skyward soar be unbound, flying free,
innocent Icarus, sans Suns' scorched imagery.

Feathered flight as appeared during dreamscapes' descent.
Wonders witnessed while free-falling from firmament.
Footage filmed left location this time to alight,
where, when woven with words, wakens white feathered
flight.

Very good usage of double alliteration, though I know in some cases it was double doubled.   The foot wanders between 8 and 7 counts, though that could just be the way I was reading.

Alicat,
Thanks for the reply. Read in anapestic trimeter (if I've done it right), it should be four feet to the line, but the punctuation may have thrown you off. Either that, or I screwed up. Have a great holiday.

Nan,
I feel as if I've gone from illiterate to alliterate in no time flat under your tutelage. Thanks.
Doc
Dear Marge,
Aw shucks! Flattery will get you a free spin on the 'go round. See ya there!
Doc
Sunshine,
Heck, dear lady, it wasn't all that, but, if you do I'll pretend not to notice ( either that, or I'll say it's mine to cover for you!) Thanks.
Doc
Endlessecho,
Thanks. Part of this, as the words would imply, I remembered on waking, filling in the blanks as best as allowed. I'm glad you liked.
