I tried to Haiku
I'm not sure if I got it
But teach Nan said "DO"
So my best shot I gave it
Hope my offering is good

Senryu I tried
Though I think I may have died
Or maybe choka
When my muse went flying by...
Hope I get better at this!

Sorry to be late
Please forgive my stumbling
This is not easy
I really am trying hard
But I think I'm bombing out!!

It's about trying
There's no success without it
Counting syllables
Gives a poet perspective
Writing haiku or tanka

Hi Tammy Blessing!
Your tanka count is perfect.
Your tops in my book.
I enjoyed your offering
And I commend your efforts!
