Remember the Good Ole Days…

Remember the good ole days
When life was easier
Everything worked out
It was easier to have faith
Make good decisions
And life was satisfying

What we like to forget
Is the anxiety and dissatisfaction
That drove us to work
To work the problems
Make the life changes that brought us
To this good day.

I remember, Bridgit! Decisions were alot easier then, than they are now.

Yes Bridget, I remember the good ol' days. In giving it more thought though, I'm not so sure they were all that much better. Times were certainly easier but still... Anyway, it's still pleasant to think of it as good ol' days. I enjoyed your poem and the short trip back.

Thanks,
Pete

There's a balance, isn't there?  For every loss there's a gain.. For every gain there's a loss... and so goes the way of life..

Well said, Bridget...
