Public De'feet' While sitting here and reading 'bout Ms. Kit's poetic feet A brand new thought occurred to me...new thoughts are quite a treat Now usually a rhyme will be read silently you see But every now and then someone will share one orally So I can't help but wonder what the consequence would be If one stood up and shared a verse aloud and publicly And say that poet's meter took a dive and headed south Could one then say that poet's feet were squarely in his mouth? ~vlraynes Sorry, Kit...I just couldn't resist. Kit, Now that was one well put foot( or two ). Much better than a kick in the butt with a frozen boot ( or three ). But anyway, who's counting (Nan, and lately "Deer") so I guess you can't get away with nothin' anymore around here! |
