Welcome to PIP, my wayward friends where proper posting all depends on etiquette and certain rules this worshop's an "informal" school wherein our "teacher" Balladeer alone decides on where it is each posting that you make resides One must assume that since you're new such subtleties eluded you assignments which we pactice here get handed out by Balladeer and subsequently graded on the "workshop curve" ( though some would say more harshly than what most deserve ) I hope these guidelines serve you well should you decide to stay a spell I think you'll find this friendly place will suit you fine , but just in case there shouldn't be any reason you'd have to dispute these words of welcome crafted and wrapped up to boot. Alison, Thanks. I usually check in daily and kept waiting for Balladeer to transfer their poems to open ( as he usually does )then decided since they were still here, to have a little fun with it. Hopefully all is well with Deer and he's just taking it easy recovering. All the same I may have to send out a search party if he doesn't show up soon. Doc BTW, this is not an example of "wrapped refain" as while it does follow the syllable counts, rhyme scheme, and six line stanza format, it does not repeat the first four syllables verbatim ( thought I might smoke Balladeer out of hiding with that one, lol ) Doc [This message has been edited by Dr.Moose1 (12-01-2009 08:00 AM).] |
