I hate myself, for what I've put you through, for making you feel like a failure, when you're the one who was right, when you took the punishment, the one I deserved. I hate myself, for breaking your fragile heart, for blaming you when things go wrong, especially since I messed up, and I did wrong to you, while you were so good to me. I hate myself, for telling you so many lies in the end, just so you wouldn't hate me, and so I wouldn't hurt you. But I still hurt you, and for that I hate myself. ~Kristi Lynn "Sometimes people care too much. I think it's called love." -Winnie the Pooh |

this is the exact opposite of how ive been feeling lately, three weeks ago, i got dumped for another girl, but oh well, im now with the one ive always wanted to be with. *how was i to kno that today id meet someone like you? how was i to see the light with him in my path and you too far to touch?* |

Now, this is excellent! Have you ever consider writing with rhyme? |

Thanks much for your replies. Dean: Thanks for your compliments, and I can honestly say I wish you couldn't relate, 'cuz it's hard. Tamma: Congrats, and from the way things are going, I might be with the one I wanted to be with soon, too. Master: I try to write in rhyme, but for me it doesn't work very well. I did one recently, but I don't know if it's that great. ~Kristi Lynn "Sometimes people care too much. I think it's called love." -Winnie the Pooh |

Angel..you the girl..you the girl! Excellent poem! Exactly how I felt when I broke up with the boy of my dreams! Luckily though, he understood, and took me back...now we are happy as ever! Thanks for posting a poem that I could relate to! "Superiority to fate is difficult to learn. 'Tis not conferred by any, but possible to earn"--Emily Dickinson-"Superiority of Fate" |
